Carpenter Place Apartments is an occupied renovation of a 151-unit senior living community in Ypsilanti, Michigan, focused on modernizing resident spaces while improving accessibility through ADA unit conversions and comprehensive building upgrades. Next Chapter Construction facilitated the removal and replacement of the property's Duro-Last® roofing system while self-performing non-load-bearing metal stud framing and drywall for ADA unit conversions.

Our finish carpentry team also removed and installed new kitchen cabinets and countertops, replaced apartment entry doors, and completed general patch and paint throughout the property. Working in a fully occupied residential environment required careful coordination, phased construction, and a commitment to minimizing disruption while delivering high-quality craftsmanship for residents and the ownership team.
